Line Bore Machining We provide Bore Machining services at our shop and in the field. Our line bore machining is done with one Climax BB6000 and one Climax BB5000.
Line Bore Welding We provide bore welding at both our facility and in the field. The automatic welding process allows for precise bore build-up and decreases the welding and boring time. We can line bore holes that are adjacent or up to 6-1/2' apart.

When you are faced with a large diameter line boring or flange facing project in the field, that just can't be properly done with a small diameter boring bar, we are the ones to call. We are proud to announce the latest addition to our expanding lineup of line boring equipment. The model BB6000 portable boring bar by Climax Portable Machine Tools, Inc. represents the state of the art, when it comes to large diameter boring and large diameter facing projects. This beefy 3-1/2" bar, with it's high torque drive system will provide faster cutting rates while minimizing tool chatter and bar deflection. The end result will be better quality cuts, more accurate bores, and faster completion times. The resultant bore quality and cutting speed of this machine simply can't be duplicated with a smaller system. In addition to this large system, we also offer a full complement of smaller boring and facing equipment. Our expertise, coupled with the fact that we own several complete boring bar systems, allows us to run multiple setups simultaneously, for faster completion times on your critical equipment, helping to reduce costly downtime. With the addition of the BB6000 boring and facing system, we can accommodate line boring and bore welding projects ranging from 1-1/2" to 36" and facing projects ranging from 4" to 36" in diameter. Our crews are fitted with a full complement of the finest equipment made, and will arrive on site fully ready to serve you.
