DEA Incorporated provides a wide line of steel raise liners for the underground mining industry. These can be installed from the surface or in underground raise sites through the use of our specially designed installation equipment. (HURLIE)
Some of the features and benefits of our line of raise liners are as follows:
- Our steel liners provide a quick and economical way to line a raise, eliminating the need for costly maintenance and upkeep.
- Liners provide a substantially better k Factor, improving ventilation air flow and minimizing head losses in the ventilation loop.
- Liners can be furnished with necessary utility hangers pre-installed.
- Liners can be furnished with complete escape ladders and landings installed.
- Optional lids and egress ways are available for attachment to the vertical liner, when complete.

DEA Incorporated provides the means to safely install steel raise liners with the following benefits:
- DEA Incorporated owns and operates the specialty equipment required to install steel liners from the top down, eliminating
the need to have any personnel working underneath the raise at any time.
- Raise liners can be installed on an angle. Most lining installations become very difficult when not at 90 degrees.
- Underground liners can be installed at any diameter up to 10 ft.
- Liners can be of any thickness.
- Ore pass liners up to 3/4' AR plate have been successfully installed on slope in underground raises.
- Although the above features are important, safety is our biggest advantage. Our system provides the means to SAFELY, quickly and economically install steel liners in underground raises with minimal risk exposure to our crews.
