DEA Incorporated High Voltage Switchgear is built with the underground installation environment in mind.
Special design features are:
- Specially designed dead front rear load side connection panel with Kirk Key Interlock to primary switch.
- Full sized line and load side hinged doors.
- Heavy duty mine skid construction with lifting eyes on top and bottom of the unit.
- Load break disconnects with grounding features on all switch blades.
- Safety glass disconnect visibility window.
- Insulated and bonded ground buss the entire length of mine load center with external ground grid connection lug.
- Multiple heavy duty mine power cable strain reliefs.
- Pilot wire connection terminals.
- Heavy duty epoxy paint (2 coats) on industrial primer coat.
